the quiet mind

Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based program to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children.

As a facilitator for Peaceful Kids and Peaceful Parents, I have cultivated mindfulness practices over several years. The techniques and strategies acquired have proven invaluable during difficult periods, including IVF treatments, cancer surgery, chemotherapy, awaiting medical results, and hospital recovery. These experiences presented significant challenges, and the application of mindfulness methods greatly enhanced my ability to manage and cope effectively. I weave both Mindfulness practices and Art Therapy skills within the sessions.

Selecting Children and Adolescents for the Program

This educational program means any child, tween or teen can participate in the program. Children

and adolescents, may benefit from the social and emotional skills, have poor resilience, symptoms of stress or going through a difficult time.

This program helps:

  • Children and adolescents to build their emotional resilience, so they are better equipped to deal with the day-to-day stresses that life brings them.

  • Support parental involvement and commitment to supporting the strategies at home.

This program is an educational program and is not a counselling or therapy program.
