Unlock The Most Confident You

Hi. I’m Amy and welcome to my Coaching Page.

Self-belief and Self-confidence Life Coach for neurodivergent individuals.

You Do Not Have To Do It Alone

Well, the great news is, you do not have to do it alone! I see you and hear you. I’m here to support you, to hold your hand all the way.

As a proud ADHD coach, I’m passionate and dedicated to helping you to authentically thrive in all areas of your life.

How I Can Support You

  • Confidently design the fruitful life you’ve only thought possible for others because you’ve been telling yourself you’re not worthy of it

  • Develop self-acceptance, when self-esteem and self-worth is low, to wholeheartedly love every part of yourself

  • Calm anxiety and a dysregulated nervous system, through practising mindfulness and creativity, regulation practices

  • Always being caught up in the doing and busyness of life that may have led to workaholic tendencies, to burn out

  • Catastrophising and always thinking about the worst outcome

  • Improve procrastination and perfectionism

  • Stop self-doubting, using negative self-talk and over thinking the small stuff

  • Stop feeling easily offended by other people’s actions or comments towards you. Become a master of your own emotional self-management

  • Implement healthy boundaries so the difficult people in your life are unable to trigger you

  • Learn to speak up and use your voice, knowing that your voice does count and what you have to say is important

My Personal Journey

  • I am neurodivergent and was diagnosed with ADHD in my late forties, following a rare cancer diagnosis and clinical menopause. These experiences intensified my ADHD traits.

  • My tween daughter Rose was diagnosed with ADHD around the time I experienced medical trauma, which included separation from her during my cancer surgery when she was only five. For six weeks while I was in an ICU ward under induced coma, there was no communication or hospital visits. The family decided not to frighten Rose because of my appearance, with medical tubes coming in and out of my body. This led to separation anxiety for Rose, increased her overall anxiety, and resulted in emotional outbursts—especially since she had already witnessed her mother going through cancer surgery, recovery, and chemotherapy treatments.

  • Through my own experiences living with ADHD and caring for a neurodivergent tween, I became deeply involved in researching all aspects of neurodiversity. My goal was to better understand what I refer to as the 'Neurodivergence Umbrella,' so that I could make sense of myself and help my daughter—and others—become more self-aware and confident in who they are.

Understanding Neurodivergence

It is essential to recognise that my ADHD diagnosis does not determine my identity. Rather, it offers valuable insights into my cognitive processes and enhances my understanding of myself. As a child, I was not diagnosed, largely due to girls' tendency to mask symptoms more effectively than males. While growing up, I encountered several challenges related to my sensitivity and awareness of being different from peers, which included experiences of bullying at school.

I have always been deeply affected by music and films, and often engage in thought rumination, particularly regarding social situations in which I feel I have been treated unfairly. Additionally, I experience sensory overload in environments such as fluorescent-lit spaces, shopping centres, and crowded areas. Perfectionism, people-pleasing behaviours, and burnout tendencies are also prevalent in my personal history. When I am passionate about a subject, I exhibit intense focus and commitment towards it.

For Parents & Families

As someone who is neurodivergent and has personal experience—including caring for a neurodiverse tween—I know how challenging some days can be.

There are times when you have to choose your battles wisely. Mornings before school can bring anxiety, and after-school pickup often reveals the mask coming off, showing the real person underneath. Sometimes this leads to a meltdown, especially after trying so hard at school to fit into an environment that isn’t always neuro-affirming.

I know what it's like to feel drained—emotionally and physically—sometimes so worn out that you feel numb, all while trying to keep your own cup of love filled. At the same time, you're striving to be a beacon of support, first for yourself and then for your child and family. There are moments when it seems as if you're facing everything alone, because those you open up to may not truly understand what you're going through.

Where Could You Shine If You Truly Let Yourself?

Know in your heart that you are worthy of the things you want - All of them! You truly have the ability to thrive again.

You deserve a supportive environment and the time you need to develop your own confidence strategies, in ways that work best for you. As your ADHD coach, I'll share effective approaches that have brought me happiness, fulfillment, and genuine self-confidence.

Achieving real transformation requires determination, and we’re here to support each other.

There’s no quick fix for creating the life you want, but I’m committed to guiding you through every step.

This is your moment to welcome change—to truly live and flourish with confidence every day, no matter what challenges arise.

Are you prepared to leave your comfort zone, face your fears, and take charge of your journey?

Great—I’m excited to help you make it happen.
