Hi, my name is Amy. I’m pleased you are here.

I practice under a holistic approach which means to treat the whole person, body, mind and soul. I am a self-belief and self-confidence Life Coach for neurodivergent individuals, clinical Art Therapist, and weave Mindfulness practices into my sessions. I also have a passion for creating hand-crafted, gorgeous-smelling botanical fragrances to assist with mindfulness practices to support one to soothe and lift the soul.

I see you beautiful. You invest in everyone around you, tending to their needs and putting them first while treating yourself like you are not worthy.

You’re ‘getting through’ life, but deep down you want to really enjoy it. You want to allow time for yourself, too. To have the confidence to do what you secretly crave and fill your own love cup in the way you fill everyone else’s so that you can be the best version of yourself, laughing and shining your beautiful, radiant light in a way that the whole world will see.

To celebrate yourself, just being YOU.

Here is my story

Get to know me, and to see if I maybe the right fit for you, to engage in my offerings and possibly work with me.

Early Years in Entertainment

Here is my story to get to know me, and to see if I maybe the right fit for you, to engage in my offerings and possibly work with me. Through my teens and twenties, I had a fruitful career in the entertainment industry, as a model and television presenter, for over two decades. Being the sensitive soul, that I am, overtime, it was all too much for me to handle the scrutiny that goes with being in the public eye. I may have looked the part from the help of my stylist team, but on the inside, I lacked self-confidence and self-worth. Through some tough life experiences, a change in environment, some heart-led decision-making and deciding to be really honest and vulnerable with myself, I soon retired.

A New Path in Holistic Beauty

I started to nurture and heal myself, learning how to love me more. I believe my nature as an empath and sensitive being, lead me in the direction, to open the study books in my late 20’s and I obtained a diploma of Beauty Therapy. This training led me to performing holistic spa facial and body Aromatherapy treatments as a Beauty Therapist. My passion for holistic beauty was well accepted; I developed an astute sense for how to enhance people’s self-belief and self-confidence. I soon started working with my friends who I knew in the entertainment industry, this time I was behind the camera and not in front of it.

Building a Wellness Business

I cared for the beauty and wellbeing of people from all walks of life and celebrities. I was the beauty expert who represented many well-known skin care brands. I also founded and grew three successful Sydney skin and wellness boutiques in Paddington and Woollahra, Sydney and became the founder and creator of a luxury skincare and Botanical Fragrance Collection.

Discovering Coaching

It was during these two decades as a Beauty Therapist, I noticed deep rapport between my clients and I, and many would confide in me, once relaxed on the treatment bed. I wondered what may happen if I had the skills and training to actively listen and ask thoughtful questions of my clients while they spoke.

It was like a lightbulb went off! I could help my clients know themselves through self-actualisation techniques all whilst they were receiving a pampering and nurturing treatment. I could support them to nourish their mind, body and soul - all at once! I promptly began studying to become a Life Coach, adding to my repertoire in holistic health.

Health Crisis & Transformation

I was truly fulfilled in my work, until my unexpected diagnosis of PMP Pseudomyxoma peritonei—a rare, slow-growing cancer of the appendix—was discovered whilst investigating the reasons behind my unsuccessful IVF fertility treatments, in addition to undergoing surgery for Endometriosis. I soon closed my business, to focus on my health and my family to prepare for what is known as the ‘Mother of All Surgeries’.

Due to medical complications, I spent around six weeks in ICU in induced coma, with every tube you could possibly think of going in and out of my body, followed by six intensive months of cancer chemotherapy treatment and learning how to walk, talk and go to the toilet again. Finally, cancer free, I realised that my dream of running a beauty empire would no longer be fulfilled. The toll of the surgery and chemotherapy left me physically weak and emotionally vulnerable.

Healing Through Art Therapy

It was during my time in recovery that I dusted off my paints and brushes and started to heal through art making. I had no verbal dialogue to express the medical trauma I had endured and the loss of wanting another baby, due to a full hysterectomy. I felt the call to engage in an Art Therapy session, and it was during this moment, of my health crisis, that Art Therapy sessions, helped me process this trauma, creatively, when I had no words.

Due to this profound healing experiencing, I’m halfway through my Masters in Therapeutic Arts. I now work as a clinical Art Therapist for NSW Health, Mental Health Hospital, in Orange.
