Rose Petal & Coconut Water Popsicles

It’s not always easy to purchase healthy and delicious treats living in the country. So today being an absolute scorcher with the current temperature being (Cowra, Australia- 42 degrees) I’ve decided to make a batch of pretty to look at and healthy popsicles to beat the country heat.

INGREDIENTS

+Fresh Organic Edible Roses
+Dried Roses- Added Extra
+Rose Water
+Coconut Water

EQUIPTMENT

+Pyrex Jug
+Spoon
+Wooden Popsicle Sticks
+Popsicle Moulds
+Pipette/ Dropper

METHOD

+ Pour coconut water and one to two drops of rose water (rose water is potent, a little goes a long way) into a jug. Gently stir.

+Place liquid into your popsicles moulds.

+If you wish to add rose petals + buds for decoration, only ½ fill the moulds with liquid and place roses in the liquid. Place the tray in the freezer until set.

+Once set, remove from freezer and pour remaining liquid into moulds. Add more rose petals if you wish, and place in the freezer to set.

+Once set place tray into warm water to gently release from the moulds (don’t leave in too long as you don’t want them to melt) gently turn tray upside down, tap to release popsicles. Store in a container in the freezer.

Enjoy!
