Building self confidence and loving yourself..... I make it a rule to do things for myself that make me feel good like getting a massage, walking outdoors in the fresh air, watching inspiring movies and eating my favourite foods!I need to allow myself these pleasures to make me feel wholesome and positive and I think they are important for a well-balanced life. I also love spending time with the people I love who believe in me!
Skincare Regime
I'm wearing makeup a lot for television and photo shoots which can become quite clogging so I get a cleansing facial regularly! I always clean my face before jumping into bed and try and use mineral products on my skin wherever possible!
1. Develop a routine
Morning and night I cleanse, tone & moisturise my face and neck. Once a week I will use an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and encourage new ones to grow. I find this keeps my skin feeling clean and fresh.
2. Beauty comes from within
I'm a big believer in nourishing the body with healthy and wholesome foods to make the skin look and feel the best it can. My body craves a lot of fresh fruit & veg, wholegrain breads & pastas, purified water and nuts & seeds. I still think of the food pyramid I learnt at school to guide my diet.
3. At night
I always take my makeup off before I get into bed. I think it's important to let the skin breathe throughout the night & after work I will remove my makeup as soon as possible.
